1. Light weight. Part of the space of EPS packaging products is replaced by gas, which contains 3-6 million independent closed air bubbles per cubic decimeter. So it is several times to dozens of times larger than plastic.

2. It has the ability to absorb shock loads. When the EPS packaging product is subjected to impact load, the gas in the foam consumes and releases external energy through stagnation and compression. The foam gradually terminates the impact load with a small negative acceleration, so it has a good anti-vibration effect.

3. Good thermal insulation performance. Thermal conductivity is the weighted average of pure EPS thermal conductivity (108cal/m.h.°C) and air thermal conductivity (around 90cal/m.h.°C).

4. Good sound insulation performance. There are two main ways of sound insulation of EPS products, one is to absorb sound wave energy to reduce reflection and transmission; the other is to eliminate resonance and reduce noise.

5. Anti-aging and corrosion resistance. Except for long-term exposure to high-energy radiation, the product shows no visible aging. It can withstand many chemicals, such as dilute acid, dilute alkali, methanol, lime, asphalt, etc.

6. Antistatic properties. Because the electrical conductivity of EPS products is low, it is easy to generate its own electrification phenomenon during the friction process, which has no effect on general user products. For high-precision electronic products, especially large-scale integrated block structural components of modern electrical appliances, anti-static foam box equipment should be used.
